For some reason they think we should be able to toture Muslims all we want, and if we don't we are "helping the terrorists."

It's called law, conservatives, and you and I are going have to obey it--even if it means treating everyone the same.

From the Republicans that I have seen that are in our government. Id say they don't totally believe in either. Not saying that its true for all republicans. I know several and they don't feel that way. They believe in law and justice and the Constitution

It is the Democrats that use rouge judges that legislate from the bench so they can bypass the true will of the people.

news flash to the Dem.s judges are supposed to interpret the law not come up with their own definition of a law that most suites their agenda.

It is not just law, it is a lack of concern for human rights. They are so wrong to torture another human being, and I do not care how bad this person is. By torturing we have become them, we are just as bad. This is why most of the world thinks Bush is the problem, he is the worst terrorist in the world.

It seems the conservatives have changed their minds. Now they think the constitution is a "living, breathing document" subject to interpretation based on circumstances.

Yes, we do. You're whining about torture? How do you get answers from them? "Please, Mr. Terrorist, tell us what you're going to do next. No? Ok. After your meal paid for by a US taxpayer and prayer time, you are free to go." Have you heard about this war thing going on? That's justice.

If by law, you are referring to the 9th Circuit, then try again.

The president is well within his executive power to ignore the 9th circuit.

Read the Constitution.
