You could be thinking of a small pak. 75mm or the smaller 37mm.... But the smaller ones were not used towards the end of the war...What i think you are looking for is somthing of a light infanrty howitzer 7.5cm....here is a scale model of an example..These were small and put to good use in street to street fighting....There is one in the movie "The Pianist".

I think what you're looking at is a flak aa gun. They used them against tanks with mixed success because that's about the heaviest piece of artillery they had left.
