Until they lose, yes. I think the best competition will come out of the SEC but it will be damned difficult to post an undefeated season in that conference. Big 12 sucks - Big East sucks worse - Pac 10 can't hang with em.

Well...they haven't lost a game yet right? So why shouldn't they be? Sure other teams are in the same situation, but until somebody proves that they shouldn't be there...they SHOULD be there...it's like in the NFL...Pittsburgh is the champ until you beat them...and so far Jacksonville and Cincinati have done that...therefor, Pittsburgh's not really "the team to beat" for those two anymore...with Ohio...once somebody beats them...they should go down.

No. They don't even come close to leading their OWN conference in total offense. The last time I Iooked they were about 5th in total offense in the Big Ten Conference. Iowa is 6th. Don't be misled by the Texas game. Texas was well over-rated too.

Yes. They beat Texas when they were #2, if they beat Iowa, they will be #1 all the way until the Michigan game, which they will win.

i havent seen anythin to show why they shouldnt be #1, the only team that really comes right to mind for bein way over ranked is west vargina
