There's this show called Ugly Betty, starring America Ferrera.. I thought it was funny...
But then I was thinking if Betty and her boss would make a good couple in the future episodes..
What do you think?

FYI.. I have watched the Colombian version years ago...
They are going to end up together... Her nephew is an add-on...
He is sooooo adorable!!
I don't think America is ugly enough.. The Betty in the original version was hideous!but turned out to be really pretty...

It was a little choppy, but the cast is stellar. They tried to sum up too much in an hour. It'll smooth out with time and likely become a huge hit just as it has in other countries. Heck, it even beat survivor. I've heard some argue that America Ferrera is too pretty for the role. Although this is true on a superficial level it can not be overlooked that what is most appealing about her acting is her personality. It shines through her smile, her gestures and her every movement. She is the perfect person for the role personality wise. Furthermore, if the show progresses as the other versions have, the Betty character becomes more attractive with time. I'll vote for seeing America looking hot anytime. And in the end, so will her boss on the show.

Of course they'll end up as a couple! I can see that from a mile away. I didn't know there had been a different version of the show- that's intersting. I LOVE America Ferrera. She is absolutely excellent in all the roles that she takes. I like the show A LOT, but I dont think it'll last. All the other networks have really highly rated shows and I dont think this show will get enough ratings to stay on the fall lineup, unfortunately.

I like the Colombian version the best, cause of course it's the original. The Mexican one sucks, it's dumb and stupid. But Ugly Betty is pretty good. The only thing that annoys me is why couldn't Daniel be Hispanic? I don't know I just thought they would do that for some reason?

it was alright.....however America does shows different than latinos. I've seen the colombian and mexican ones and i liked them but this version is just weird. I don't know how they are going to go thru the whole story by playing it once a week. Soaps in spanish are mon-fri for an hour and it took a couple years for them to finish the story so i don't know how long it will take the american version to finish..................but yea its too different but i guess if it were taped like spanish soaps maybe americans wouldn't be used to it.

Oh, that “Ugly Betty” such an ugly duckling with some many ideas and not an ounce of attitude. It’s a shame that will never endear her to Botoxed dragon lady Vanessa Williams, there. Tsk, tsk, “Ugly Betty.” Tsk, tsk.
I say, "Ugly Betty" will excel as bright as those honking big braces that she sports there in her grill. Excellent show!

I liked the pilot but thought it was lame and formulaic that she went to work and was fired or quit again in the second episode. I thought she was more confident than that. I was let down by the character.
Also thought the Bridget Jones knock off character was about 4 years too late and lame....and 2 Million $ Baby? How is that comment funny?

I LOVED it! I think that the concept is wonderful. The characters are funny, creative, and it has a bit of drama and romance. This show is a total keeper. Although I can see her and her boss being a couple from a mile away. This show is very, very interesting.

I thought the show was so good.I can't see Betty and her boss as a couple but I think that they will become very good friends.

La Fea Mas Bea is funnier and totally over the top, although you can't complain about the boss. Didn't he use to have long hair on the L Word?

ugh....ive already watched it too many times.
first it was a show called (spanish) Betty la Fea
now theres the same friggin' show on mon-fri in spanish called La fea mas Bella except they changed her name to Lety. now this........ the same story!!!!
ok i think i might watch this one, if it has America Ferrera in it then yeah, i'll watch it, shes a great actress.
