Men aren't men anymore. Or at least have taken the back seat to responsiblity. What ever happened to hard working men? Men that support there families by any legal means necessary. And I am sorry to say it, but I notice this particularly with men of color. Women, is this your fault for being so complacent and settling for mediocracy? Women are now going out getting two jobs to support their family while there "men" do the bare minimum. Please someone, tell me. What happened to the strong men that once populated the land. Only in America!!

Part of the reason for what you see is that many men feel no real opportunity to advance, as the companies that they work for must promote women and minorities, ( The only men that get anywhere already know someone or are related to a higher up.

Also, So many Women want to take charge , ( or at least be "equal") , that it is hard for a man t feel like a man and if he cant have the authrity then how can he have the responsibility?

I like the point about women settling for losers. Just listen to a guy hit on a gal and you will have all the evidence in the world of what a loser is. Women are part of the problem as well since most have no standards at all.

Women aren't men unless they grow a penis and lose their uterus...and although I think it rocks that women are independent and taking care of themselves more and more nowadays, I don't understand any woman (or man) who will work their butt off to support a lazy partner.

Chicks have done it for eons to guys....maybe some of the guys are fighting back... but it's crummy no matter who's doing it and the people working hard to support the deadbeats need to kick them out on their tochis.

No, women are just stronger. As to what happened to our men . Check with Your president. He is sending them off by the thousands every day to be killed. those that are fortunate enough to return home are disfigured or mentally changed for life. I say leave our men alone. It not their fault that we got a president sends them off to take oil { there were no weapons mass destruction found} that does not belong to him anyway. He hasn't
sent either of the twins off. end of story.

You are absolutely right. Thanks to the Feminazis women are scorned for staying at home with their children and men are beaten if they go to work and pay for everything. The men need to step up, but first, the women must back down!

Women have made it so uncool for men to be manly that the only way we can hope to get laid is by pretending that they are as good as we are and allowing them a certain level of social status. It really all just boils down to what we as men are willing to allow to get our ***** wet.

Liberals have taught men all that you describe. Why do you think that you notice this particularly with men of color? Is it a coincidence that most men of color are liberals? Hmmm.

What are you basing your opinions on? Stereotypes or archetypes of men of the past? And are you REALLY "sorry to say" that you believe that men of color particularly fit your view of men who aren't "real men?"

You are talking from a limited perview so I will speak from mine. All of the black men in my world have worked and been successful. When I say "my world" I don't just mean my immediate family. One best friend's father is one of the first black state supreme court judges; another is the first black man to own a chain of funeral homes; others have fathers who are successful doctors, lawyers, dentists and businessmen.

This is the world that is invisible to you and to many like you who have never been exposed to the black middle class. What you see of black people has been limited to the extreme ends of the spectrum and so you base your opinions on that. You either see the criminal, drug dealers, welfare abusers and uneducated living in the ghettoes or you see the rich ignorant rap stars, the athletes, movie stars and entertainers. You are totally ignorant and unaware of the black middle to upper middle class because they are not represented on television or movies nor do you pay attention to us in your daily lives because we are quote, unquote too "normal" for us to be obvious.

I am talking here about black people and people of color who have intact nuclear families or who come from single parent female or maile headed households who go to work everyday, whose children are not in trouble, go on to be college grads and successful adults. People who go to church, vote, pay bills, and have the same ethics and values as those who are not "people of color."

Because your exposure is limited you are either ignorant of a whole class of people like those I've described or you simply view us as "exceptions." Like I said, if we are speaking from experience then my world is totally different from yours. The difference is that I realize my world view is limited and so I know better than to base my limited experiences with white people on that limited view. If I did I would form a negative opinion of "many or all" of them just like you have regarding "people of color."

I have long let go of the need to judge people based on race, religion, culture or politics. Why? Because I have found that by doing this and being open-minded I have been fortunate enough to meet people of every color, race, creed who dispel any negativity I am constantly bombarded with on tv and in other forms of media. When your mind is open this happens. When your mind is made up you tend to subconsciously draw or look for validation of your negative opinions.

Why don't you try adopting that practice? You'll be surprised.
