I don't understand why you asked this question in the "Special Education" category. Are you a student or teacher in the special ed. department?
Anyway, you might not like my answer to your actual question, but I am honest, so I will share it. I do not feel that humans (or plants or animals or even the earth) were created by any God or Deity. I believe in evolution only. I'm not trying to persuade anyone else to believe the way I do, and I'm not trying to insult anyone, so please don't criticize me. I'm just sharing my personal belief. :)

Ok I am not Muslim but this is what I have learned. God created us for his enjoyment. He enjoys watching us enjoy all the beauty that he has created for us. He smiles when we smile, he laughs when we laugh and his heart fills when we thank him for all that he has done. I believe no matter what your religion is God is the same higher power. There is only one God and to my knowledge that is the believe in all religions. But just as he created different races of people he also created different religions. But the bottom line is he created us for his enjoyment.

((Wa ma khalaqt aljin walins ila liyabidoon))
if you can not read Arabic, look for explanations in any good "Quraan" site

I'm not sure what Islam teaches...In Christianity, we believe that God doesn't get anything out of creating us. How could he? He's totally complete and self-sufficient within himself. He created us to love and for us to love him, because he has so much love he wants to share it. But that's because he's generous, not because he's lonely (since in Christianity we believe he's three people in one, he is able to fully experience love by himself).
