computer viruses are software programs that infect ur computer and delete files or corrupt files while biological viruses are made up of proteins and are considered to be on the verge of living and non living. biological viruses replicate with such a speed because they have a very short strand of DNA compared to other living things so they require less time to gather the material needed for making a new pair of DNA. as soon as a new pair of DNA is made it is packed in the outer body of virus manufactured separately and released in to the environment to infect other cells

A wonderful Q..
You see viruses are of two types.. ones wich have the genetic material as DNA and the ones with the Genetic as RNA. (It's the ones with DNA which usually attack animals.)
Now.. viruses have the property to adapt to the surroundings very easily (maybe because of their simple yet effective dna structure).. and by the time the body defences creates a defence against the virus, it would've mutated and would've learnt to surviuve whatever the body may do...
Now the diff between a comp virus and a bio virus is that the bio virus has Genetic material, a capsid wall .. whereas a comp virus is a program which is desigened to create problems in the computer and disrupt is normal working

Depends upon the virus.

Computer viruses are programs which have the ability to make copies of themselves. They are also called cyber-viruses or virtual viruses. They have no physical form. Some of these do nothing but replicate, other not only replicate, but also do other things to the systems that they run in. They were likened to biological viruses because they require a host to replicate.

The replication of Computer viruses is a function of the effectiveness of the programming and the speed of the computer that they control. The replication times are usually measured in nanoseconds.

Biological viruses are very small micro-organisms which require a living cell to replicate. They basically takes over the living host cell and forces it (the cell) to make copies of itself (the virus). This usually happens until the cell bursts or dies and this releases the virus and allows it to spread.

The quality and quantity of materials in the host cell is the determining factor in biological virus replication. If the cell does not contain everything required, then no replication takes place. If the host have vast quantities of the required materials, then replication can be very fast, bursting the cell in a matter of minutes.

A computer virus basically is a set of instructions that is told to destroy files or components of your computer. A biological virus is actually not a living thing, but is a strand of DNA or RNA protected in a protein coat called a capsid. Biological viruses spread by injecting their DNA or RNA into living cells to create new parts to make new viruses. The new viruses then burst out of the cell, causing cell lysis, or cell death.

I asked this question long time ago when i was in 7th grade ...
Computer viruses are just softwares and not a living organism .
It is justa malicious code that can create havoc in ur PC .
Think of it like a program that eats up ur memory and deletes files in ur HDD ... It just happened that one geek thought of naming it as a tribute to real viruses' coz , it comp virus does to computers what vio birus does to humans albeit not literally .
it doesnt have anything to with biological viruses .
Bio virus are micro organism's that are living things and have the capbility to multiply at a fast rate owing to its acclimation with various environmental conditions.
Hope that helps
