Also I've checked my volume control and its fine and also the cords on the back of my tower is fine too, but why is it not working? There is absolutley no sound at all...hmmm.

Hey mine did that the other day,Had a x password generator on mine full of virus, Go to your PC doctor,and do a diagnostic test on sound, If you need more help with this email me or hit me at yahoo and i will walk ya through what to do.Good luck oh yeah got the virus from a friend of mine checking there my space mess from a bot

u lost the driver for the sound go to device man and del sound restart comp it will reset sound driver or used windows restore to a good ck point a few days good luck also ck comp for spyware/virus

your sound card may have bit it, go to Best Buy and get another one, they have all kinds of cool ones now.
