Nice list, but I would have included some or all of the following movies:
Taxi Driver with Robert DeNiro, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial,
Schindler's List, Roman's Polanski's Chinatown, To Kill A
Mockingbird with Gregory Peck, and Gone With The Wind.
However, it is your list, which means it is governed by your
subjective opinion.

Not bad, but you obviously like the smaller budget art films. Don't get me wrong, there are some biggies on your list, but the majority aren't epics. Where is Gone With the Wind, Spartacus, Star Wars, Jaws, etc?

You have some pretty good movies except one Metropolis come on that has to be the most boring movie ever made.

I think if those were the last movies left on earth I'd throw my T.V. in the trash after smashing and burning it.

Jesus you have a lot of time on your hands

And I see you credit films solely to directors, when film is a collaboative process.
