Be Honest Please no one knows who u are anyway. Do looks matter to you AND do you think that the people who say "I dont care about looks" are the ones who are actually insecure about their own looks or what?

of course looks matter. that's what initially attracts us to other people. but looks aren't everything.
the most gorgeous person can have such a bad personality, that when you get to know them, they are not that attractive anymore.
and the person that is not all that pretty can have a great personality, which makes them way more attractive than you thought they were when you first met them.

In a way they do but if a person has a bad attitude then it doesn't matter what they look like. If that makes sense. I have known pretty people that were mean and not so pretty people that after I got to know them were the prettiest people from that moment on because they were good hearted and nice. I guess at 1st sight looks matter but in the end it doesn't

No matter what anyone says, looks do matter to pretty much everyone, even if its not a lot. They may not be the most important thing, but they do matter, to some more than others. People who say they don't care about looks probably don't want to sound shallow, but in the back of their mind they probably do, even if its just a little. To me, sure, looks matter, but personality is so much more important.

Yes and no. Many people care about looks yes but those who say they don't usually mean they do but personality is more important than looks.
Those who say they don't care about looks are not necessarily insecure about their own looks abecause I am certainly not insecure. It may apply to some people but not all.

In my opinion looks dont really matter!! Its whats on the inside that counts!! I have alot of friends but some arent all that attractive, but Im still their friend! It doesnt matter to me! If I can get along with them and trust them then Im doing good!! lol!!
All I know is that God does not care what you look like he cares about how you treat others and how you are!! And thats what I look for in everyone!! <333

I can only speak for myself and say that looks only matter in certain instances. For true friends or relationships of any sort, looks absolutely don't matter! For things like attraction to the opposite sex, then looks do matter, but remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder or love is blind! (whichever is applicable!) lol
I, personally, try not to judge people by their looks, but by their words and actions!

When in my teens & early 20's I cared alot about looks...some were nice inside & out but mostly they were shallow or insecure themselves..As I matured in many ways looks became secondary to their overall disposition..
Besides everyone has various tastes & opinions on what is attractive..

Looks do matter. My boyfriend is gorgeous. Lucky for me, he is insecure about his looks and thinks I am the best he can do. I am ugly.

No I think personality has more to with how you see a person than looks. I mean someone can be very beautiful on the outside and rude and mean when you really get to know them.

I don't. The proof is my current boyfriend is said to look 'weird' but I love him for who he is. My ex was deaf and blind and I was ready to marry him. Those who care about looks are superficial people.
