Yes you have a specific amount of time that you can drive legally, for example tourists are able to drive with international liscenses. Eventually you have to get a Colorado liscense.

You will need to go to the Colorado license people and see what they say. I'm pretty sure that if you have an international license, they will honor it for a set amount of time.

No, but there usually is a grace period for you when you first come. But if you have been here a while, you will get ticketed if pulled over. That would be about $200.00 pulse for driving with out a proper license. Don't do it. Get the license.

check with the embassy and the local transportation department to see if you could...im sure they'll let you....because they dont seem to mind canadian drivers licenses and people from other US states (every state has its driving laws and ages to get a license)

I believe so. I've heard the US honors international drivers licesnses for a specific amount of time to allow visitors to rent cars and see the states.
