why do people get hooked on crack "cocaine"?

It beats me! Do they take a look at a toothless crack monster and say " That's for me"? Is their a person alive who thinks that "they" will only do it once or do they think they won't become addicted? If you are asking how they get hooked it just takes one hit. I have never done it but I know people who have and they say that first hit is better than sex, They will sell any & every thing for the next hit. It is so sad!
