Some believe in it..
If it helps them feel better, eases their pain, to believe in this.. then so be it. I'm talking about all the ouchies we each encounter throughout the day/night. Not anything major.. for that, I pray they seek medical assistance.
I have thunder rocks - geodes - and just looking at them makes me feel happy. Such beauty hidden within an ugly rock.. like much of human kind actually.. it's what's in our hearts/souls that really matters .

No, I have sat listening to explanations of vibrations and energy and how everything will resonate at a particular frequency, damned good stuff as I used to teach physics.
Crystals don't sit there humming away with mystical energy any more than any other material, they will produce electromagnetic vibrations when deformed (piezoelectric effect) so perhaps placing the crystal on an affected part and striking it sharply with a hammer will produce an interesting result.

A crystal will of course resonate with sound vibrations that match its natural frequency but I haven't noticed crystals being sold in tuned sets, and if so, tuned to what? If a low mass crystal is placed on a high mass body and resonance is set up than surely the low mass crystal would show the greatest amplitude.

Crystals are good for making mugs, especially the type that pay good money for this gobbledegook. Realise please that the remedy for many ills lies within the body and mind and it amazes me that all this evolution/creation (pick your own term) that has resulted in an exquisitely designed self feeding, self reproducing machine capable of learning and of modifying its environment and repairing itself should be secondary to a lump of rock.

I do massage therapy, but I've never gotten into the spiritual side of it. The crystals might be able to help with energy work. But I've never done it or had it done. I usually stay away from the wierd side of energy work. But I believe in some of it. Energy is everywhere and in almost everything or at least some form of energy. So if it works for you then go for it. Massage is an amazing tool that so many people don't even understand or want to explore. And it's sad.

Crystals help to maximize energy transmission and other qualities. Crystals have been used healing since ancient times. Crystals can be seen to transmit energy and are conductors in healing and in technology. There are crystals in your watch, computer, etc. that conduct energy.

Crystal Healing is a method of using crystals or stones to help
achieve balance of the mind, body, heart and spirit. Crystals are
tools that carry specific vibrations and properties to help heal many types of illness, mental and emotional disorders and increase spiritual awareness. The crystals have an inner structure that is in a state of balance, it radiates energy like a laser, and this energy may be transmitted into objects (such as quartz watches) or people at will. As healers, we use crystals to release negative energy and thought patterns so that disease may be prevented or healed.

I believe that there's a huge mind-body connection and by doing crystal therapy, you can feel better because of the power of the mind and power of suggestion. It could also be a very relaxing experience which also can promote health.

Individuals seeking quartz natural crystals, firsthand, from the earth to their hands with minimal activity in-between, are some of our best and most consistent clients. We happily oblige them. These individuals have found a very large clear natural quartz geode to be healing, and a source of calm.

The crystals might be pretty but it's a load of old nonsense I'm sure. More credible alternative medicine routes are acupuncture, herbalism etc

its not a placebo effect. ask a scientist or a researcher who studies crystals and they will say its base on science. recently, spas have make use of crystal healing for their customers for relaxation and stuff.
allow me to say something about this particular crystal. its black tourmaline crystal. research has been done that this particular crsytal deflect electro magnetic fields (EMFs). Computers, televisons, recording studio emits alot of EMFs, thus this black tourmaline crystal is able to help. what is happening in japan is that, they are crushing black tourmaline in mouse pads, molding within plastic computer mouse shells and exterior parts of computers and computer screens.
also, in general, tourmaline is an alkaline-based, its helps in balancing in our blood pH level.
there is alot of things to talk about crystal healing/therapy. message me if you want to know more

Yes I think there is some benefit. As to proving it I won't try. Somehow the crystals draw energy from the universe. Can this energy help heal us ?
