I remember him not for coronation street so much as I was born in 62 and I think he was in corrie early 60's I remember him for heartbeat, casualty and all creatures great and small! He must be getting on a bit in age! a very fine English actor!

yeah he was the male actor in hickory house a kids tv programme on a dinner time in the 70s,who could forget humphrey cushion and dusty mop.the series also starred amanda barrie also from coronation street.the programme was made by granada and aired in 1973.

I met him here in Asheville NC after he did the series Wilmot at the Grove Park Inn where he was staying. He was a nice Gent.
