We decided to go out as "friends" because we're both recovering from breakups and not ready to date (both of our breakups happened months ago, but we're still on the mend). However, we really hit it off & the date lasted 14 hours. We decided 2 b lovers. He said he's met some women lately w/no chemistry but I was his dream girl.He called me two days later, and left a message stating "I called because I should" I sent him a few emails. He replied with "I like you, I want to see you again, but I want to be alone for a while.Maybe we can be friends." I called him to -speak- with him. I listened, agreed to give him his space, and then he said he wants to see me again because he finds great pleasure in being around me. He said he's worried he has nothing to offer me right now. I told him I have everything I want and don't care.Maybe I don't understand what he's talking about.Anyway, he ignored my 2 emails and 1 phone message.Worried he might have a GF? Suddenly he's out of town & silent.

Since I am a scorpio let me tell you what he means. If he can't find anyone better then he will see you. Sorry for being so blunt but that is the way some of them are. Not all but some. Sounds as if he is playing the field and when he needs you he will call otherwise he will not. Leave him alone and don't call or contact him, us scorpian are like that we like the chase, but beware once we get you doesn't mean we will keep you, sorry but being honest.

Uhh .. Ya. I think "out of town" and "I need space" are probably guy code for "I'm already with someone else". I find that "Worried because I have nothing to offer you", is some kind of excuse and maybe code for "I can't even give of myself because I am with someone else". Unless he is twelve then by now he should have picked up on the fact that when we get what we want or need from a relationship it does not matter what the other person has or does for living (having their devotion is enough for most of us). Your worries are probably right on the mark. Forget that Scorpio/Capricorn bulls@#! and go with the clues you are getting. Most people, no matter what month they were born in, are more responsive when they feel the amount of attraction he is claiming. If you really must use Astrology to figure your life out then I will tell you this... I am a Scorpio and I dated a Scorpio who used the same lines your guy is using but at the end of our relationship. Turned out he was checking out the grass on the other side of the fence and decided to leave me for it before bothering to check it for any brown spots. Now he's sorry but I'm not. You can do better than anyone who plays those games. If he was really into you he'd be available... to you. If you don't like what I'm saying then think of this, "I called because I should" !?! How passionate. I mean, WOW isn't it every girl's dream to hear that. Is that what you are willing to settle for? Better yet, are you willing to settle for someone who feels he is settling for you?

Well I'm a scorpio and to me what he meant was something is troubling him about the relationship.. as someone said, it may be going too fast for him... That you may be too good of a person for him and he for some odd reason wants his great friendship with you but at same time also sees a partnership and can't work past the games in his own mind about what he wants possiblity

Hope it works out...

yeah that can be pretty normal behavior for a scorpio, sometimes they like to be alone to sulk, especially if hes still on the mend from getting out of a breakup. they show almost all emotions in extremes. keep giving him space but let him know you're still there. when he comes out of his solitude he'll probly see you alot more often.

Scorpio is a fixed sign, they like to "own" things and be able to share them with people there close to. so having everything you want might intimidate him a bit. nothing a little assurance can ease.

Good luck trying to figure out your scorp fully though, they always seem to hold there mysterys, and can see right through your's.

He's obviously saying your trying to make him do something he dosen't. The more you push a scorpio, the more it will seperate himself from you. They're very emotional and unforgiving. If he see's you being a hassle, he might judge you that forever. What most scoprio's want from a woman is just to be caring, sweet, and tend to there emotions and making them feel good again. They don't want to feel inferior or weak. If you want the love back, just be who you were when you first met.

It sounds like he likes you but feels the two of you might have moved too fast, and now he feels obligated because you slept together. He told you up front that he wasn't ready to be in a relationship. Give him space - lots and lots of space. You know the saying, if he comes back to you, he's yours; if he doesn't, he never was . . .

In romantic relationships, sun signs are not as important as the moon, mars, venus and rising sign positions. If you know your's and your partner's time and place of birth, you can get free charts at www.astro.com

Dolly said it all. Besides, aren't they the ones who like to keep more than one on the string?

This guy is not ready for anything new, and it sounds like he is not completely over his previous relationship. Keep him on the backburner for now, but date others, have fun!
