I'm currently pregnant and my doctor said a glass of red wine a week was fine for the baby. Just don't drink enough to get drunk. Also, if it helps when I first found out I was pregnant I was concerned because I had gotten drunk before I knew and my doctor said if it was too early for me to know I was pregnant it probably didn't do any harm to the baby.

Try a glass one night, if you don't feel guilty, then there is your answer. So many people have quite a bit to drink before they find out they are pregnant, with no problems. My thinking is, what if you do have that drink and then something goes wrong, not necessarily because of the drink, but how will you feel? I say skip it. That one glass of wine is not worth the worry.

I am speaking from personal experience! I rather enjoy my wine of an evening. I was (brace yourself) 5 months pregnant before I found out I was pregnant! Being absolutely terrified of having hurt my baby, my OB told me to relax. Anything, in moderation, won't be harmful. A glass of wine every now and then won't hurt. Just don't drink to the point of even "tippsy". She also told me that the antioxidants in red wine is good for you....in limited amounts of course!.

My doctor says that you should treat your body while you're trying to conceive as if you are pregnant. A glass of wine occasionally is fine all through pregnancy, but not in excess and don't get drunk.

do not throw out the cork! you may replace the cork & get exhilaration from the flavors on yet another day. i would not proceed to drink from an open bottle extra desirable than a week nevertheless. you may finally end up not liking the style after that lots time has handed. in spite of the undeniable fact that, it could consistently be stored in the refrigerator & used as cooking wine. Voila! happy Tasting & Cooking!

If you are worried then just don't have any. It's better safe than sorry. Some women can have alchohol during their pregnancy and the babies will be fine. But medicine still doesn't know just how much is safe.
