The only person I ever scare away is maybe myself, but then there's no where to run to! (This may explain my split-personality disorder ;)

I dont scare people but rather if its a girl I really like, I make it that Im the quirky friend because Im scared to ask if she likes me in that way! So in a way I do scare people away

Scared them away? I'm better at "pushing away" I think. I have this wretched habit of being a tad overanalytical. I wish I could learn to take things at face value. If I learned to do this, I'm sure life would be so much easier for me. Meanwhile.....I'm stuck with this habit and people too scared to get too close to help me beat it. What a catch 22!
