Typically you rent and apartment and you own a condominium. It is interesting that the two terms have opposite meanings. "apartment" focuses on the fact that these are units of people living apart; "condominium", although its widespread use in English is fairly recent giving it the feel of a new word, is a very old word from Latin from the times when people in ancient Rome lived in something like apartments - the term derives from the latin "con" meaning "with" and the root "domin" meaning "house", to give the meaning "living in the same house"

The condos might want to be offered personally. apartments can in elementary words be rented or leased. A residence is nearly a house that you'll be able to purchase, yet you do not own the full progression and there are extra expenses and various regulations about what you could and may want to't do with the resources/unit.
