I need to get rid of some bulky furniture etc as I have just moved house. Can anyone tell me if their is a rubbish tip in London where I would be able to take my rubbish?

You could contact your council to collect these items, although they do charge £15 for up to 4 items, then £3 per additional item.
Contact them on: 020 8274 4902

Alternatively you could take them to:

Reuse and Recycling Centre
36 Weir Road
SW19 8UG
Wimbledon

Hope this helps. Oh by the way you will have to provide proof of residence within the council boundaries.
