The computer controls the ground for the injectors. If the ground wires are grounding before the computer, they will stay open. Another problem might be a shorted connection inside the computer which could do the same thing.

old/ dirty injectors time to replace them. yes its expensive but otherwise your gonna keep having fuel leaking into yours cylinders. + the car is almost 20 years old stuff wears out right!!
