You cant.

First of all, they have to be a member of ASCAP or some other music orgainzation that pays dues, and there are only two of them, I forget the other...

Radio Stations wont even "think" of doing this, unless you are, because they would be fined huge amounts of money if they are caught doing this for your buddys.

Tell them to Register thier Band, and start paying dues and then they can have that "seal" put on thier CD and you may be able to send them to all kinds of record companies...

I wish you well..

Jesse

I'd recommend trying to find a genuine local station that plays the right kind of music (not easy in these days of syndicated shows). Sure, it may be heard by seven people and their goat, but once it's proven itself to be playable on air, you may have more luck with bigger stations. Also, look out for DJs that have "play what they want" shows, rather than "play the playlist" shows.

u can go up 2 the radio station r call them and they can listen 2 it and if they like it they can give it 2 people in the music field and they can get their music out. that's how alot of bands 2day got started.

Look through the phone book for the local radio stations telephone number and ring them up and ask if they will play it for you and if they say no ask them if they will at least listen to the music and then reconsider.

Try an independent record label. You may need an agent. There is always lookout records, but you might have to start smaller than that.

You could always email djs from various stations and see what they say!
