he loves me and I dont love him and he cant understand. How can I tell him his breath is bad and he has poor hygiene? I dont want to hurt him.

Just say, I have to tell you something, you need to take care of your hygiene, and brush your teeth, I am doing this as a friend. I hope that you understand, it is important, these things need to be done every day. Say I am not saying this to hurt you, but as a friend!

just tell him the flat out truth, or put a letter in his mailbox (make sure he doesn't know it is from u), and have it say: brush your teeth, or give him some breath mints, ot mouthwash, or toothpaste

well there is no good or bad way to tell him the best thing to do is to be straihgt forward and tell him to his face.

if your talking to him online be like hey lets have a shower race! and see who takes the fastest shower. you get to take a shower and he does too. then do the same thing with brushing your teeth. its fun. i do it with my friends all the time.
