Why base your relationship on what other people do? Just do what works for you and makes you and your spouse happy.

It doesn't matter, one of you thinks it's not enough.. Time to walk away from the keyboard and get busy... Of course, the fact you both got together when you were in your teens is a good and a bad thing. Good because you have lasted 12 years. Bad, (possibly), as you are both totally different people than when you met.

I think you need to ask how many times per month. I say on good months, one time a week and on average 2 times a month. However it depends on the season, the couple, etc....
