Why don't you WAIT and see if there is a man out there for you who can be a real father to your child and help and support you.
Don't go down that road of going to a sperm bank. What about when your son/daughter asks about his/her dad - you're going to lie to him/her arn't you? You're not going to say you went to a special place where they injected sperm into your virgina are you? So already, you know you're going to lie to your child.
You'll be through it all on your own. You'll have no-one sleeping next to you at night, no-one to go to midwife appointments with, antinental classes, feeling the first kick, watching the first steps and of course being there with you and supporting you when give birth and bring a special little person into the world.
Wait for Mr Right, he might be round the corner....

It depends on if you are talking about just a man to have sex with you who agrees with the situation, or sperm from a sperm bank.
From the sperm bank you will probably have to go through artificial insemination or In Vitro. And that's expensive.

sorry, seriously i think you should question why you want a baby and what you can offer him/her.
there is nothing wrong with not having children. why make yourself financially worse of and have to deal with a child on your own.. trust me after a few months of dealing with a new born on your own you may feel different as to whether you should have gone ahead.
why do you want to deprive the child of a parent.
i have no objection to single parents but it depends on the cirumstances. how will you pay for the childs upkeep? will you be a benefit sponger?
think long and hard before deciding, this is not something to go into lightly

When you can not go to a relation because of ............. how can you take care of a baby ? To take care and raise a baby you need to have lots of love in side, that seems lacking in you. Baby needs to have Mother and Father figure in their life and that is their fundamental right. Only Mother figure can not do it.
There are quite a lot of case like this already and children are going through psychological problems. They hate their mothers. Please do not add yourself to the same line.

I think babies deserve a loving home with two parents, whenever possible. It costs alot of money, that's all I know.
