I was told to rub cocoa butter on my belly and breasts DURING my pregnancy in order to prevent stretch marks from showing up. I never got stretch marks in THOSE spots but DID get them on my thighs. Go figure. Now, I don't know if this all happened because of genetics or because I used the cocoa butter....

Anyway, most women I've known who had really serious stretch marks after their pregnancy and really lose skin, even after exercising a lot, ended up having special plastic surgery done to remove the excess skin and smooth out the damaged skin.

Good luck to you.

Really the best thing that I know to do is to use some Palmer's cocoa butter for removing the stretch marks and use some kind of lotion that has collagen elastin in it everyday to keep your skin from getting wrinkles and stretch marks.

from what i know these marks are due to permanent rupture of collagen fibres and cant be erased by any creams or lotions (despite their tall claims). maybe cosmetic surgery can help?
