Champion the Wonder Horse was first screened in the mid 50's, I can remember watching the original versions as a young child, loved it and really wanted that horse myself.

Yes i remember the program, late 50s and 60s bbc1 i believe. A german shepherd called Rebel, Ricky the young boy lived with his Uncle Sandy on a western ranch. I think the program was produced by Gene Autry america,s most decorated hero of wwII and film star.

I remember Champion the wonder horse and so does my husband i think it was on the BBC we really enjoyed the program

I remember it, there was the horse (champion obviously) as has been stated a dog called rebel and a kid called Ricky - not 100% sure on the kids name to be honest but i think thats what it was.

I remember it but it was on originally in the late 1960's or early 1970's if I remember correctly, I cannot recall which channel it was on as it is a long time ago now
