What I am saying is that there are people that can smoke weed or drink or smoke a cigarette every now and then and they will not get addicted and there are some people that if they do it once or twice they will not stop because they already have this "addictive personality"

No, no, no. If you know you might get addicted to something why try it. I believe they hide behind that thing of I have an illness. No one force them to drink or take drugs. You don't fool me. I have an addictive personality and I know this for sure. If I start drinking again, does this mean that I am sick or that I am weak minded? I will answer this myself. WEAK MINDED. You can stop yourself if you care about your loved ones and yourself.
So no one can tell me that because you are weak you have an illness, such as drug addiction or alcoholism. That is plain foolish.Lets all grow up and start taking responsibility for what we do.
**one last thought here. I suffer from depression, panic attacts and many more things...I go to the Doctor for that, not the nearest liquor store.** Please spare me with your lame excuses on why people get addicted.

if you say that, then you could claim that murderers have mental illnesses because they have "more violent personalities" and are more likely to commit crimes. i, for one, think people should be punished for their crimes instead of let go because it was "not their fault" because they had a "mental illness".
