it is not meant that if she/he is a tennis player then you are going to gift only that kind of things:
1.If you are going to gift ,think what she likes
2. In this time what she needs badly
3. What is her choice
4.What is your capacity?
5. The gift you want to buy, what you know about it
6. Gift her/his choice but mix your choice so that you can give the best
7. Gift the gift that can please her and you too
8. Gift something which is her in daily use
9. Gift that thing that guys not think about it.
10. Give something special that you can show your love
11. Don't give sport thing as every body can think about it.
Give something which is unique and special
12. Listen to your heart, it will show you way

Same reason why China won the "maximum medals" last Olympics but stood no chance against our basketball team. Or against Michael Phelps America has slower runners (than Usain Bolt at least) and less people interested in table tennis.

It is not necessary that u shud gift sum "table tennisy" to a table tennis player....
You can probably get her a cute stuffed doll or sumthin which u wud get anyuder girl!
