Yes, there was this guy in high school who was on some sort of medication that stoppd him from involuntary muscular movements but it made him very lathargic in school and his grades began to tumble so he stopped taking the medication and during class he would twitch really bad and make noises with his mouth. Well, the kids at school became very cruel and teased him about it. He used to sit right next to me and we studied a lot together but we never talked about his disorder. One day he did not show up to school and there was an announcement made that he had hung himself!! I went ballistic!! I yelled at the entire class and made them feel bad about the way they had treated him. I think about him all the time and wonder how his family is doing. I wish I had truly gotten to know him outside of school instead of just studying with him to help bring his grade up. I miss him so much R.I.P Kareem.

First of all let me say that suicide is a permanent soulution to a toemporary problem. And should never be considered a solution to any issue or problem. There is help out there, no matter how huge the problem may seem at the time; this is the national hot line number : 1800-SUICIDE or 1-800-784-2433. Yes, a couple of people, one a very personal friend the bass player for the Dazz band in 1989, and just the other day an acquaintance's son, he was just 23 years old, he father found him. both of these are tragedy's there is always a way to work out a problem. If you are feeling sad and suicidal you should seek help, there are local and national hot lines that one can call and speak to someone.
Suicide is a final solution to a temporary problem. It leaves everyone that loves or cares for you with tremendous feelings of loss and grief. And this is most times never over come. Sometimes the sadness is a direct result of chemical imbalances which can be worked out and treated with medicine, sometimes they are emotional issues that to can be worked out, if you or someone close to you is considering this and has let you know seek help for them, they may be angry with you in the begining however, i assure you they will thank you for saving their life. Life is already to short, and is always worth living, no matter how hard it seems at the moment, God has put us all here for a reason. He has a special plan for everyone. Yes - my brother did. He never left a note or anything. We still don't know why he did it. It is still depressing to think about all these years later. I am still mad at him for doing so too - he has missed a lot of good things.
