Uhura was probably the most important, because it was the first time a woman of color had a recurring role on a dramatic series. It's too bad her part was so small, but it was good for America to see her week after week.
I also enjoyed Frances Nguyen as the woman whose tears infected men with insatiable desire.

I loved Uhura and wish she'd gotten more command chances. She was wonderful, intelligent,gracious, a lady and competent.
However, I did love T'Pring who didn't want to belong to a man, but have the upper hand. Flawless logic. Not someone I'd like to have a a partner, but I understand where she was coming from.
