To be married to Steve Irwin, I figure she's a pretty intense person herself - with a passion. I noticed she seemed "different" but thought it just her personality.

Weird? NO. I don't think she is weird at all. I watched the Barbara Walters interview (I can't STAND Barbara by the way - SHE is the one who's WEIRD!) and anyway, Terrie is GRIEVEING, and there is nothing weird about that. I think alot of people who watched Steve and Terrie took their love and passion for wildlife, as being "weird" because maybe they didn't understand it, or just simply didn't share that same passion. However, we all should. When you watch them on t.v., they are very "into" what they do, they are very passionate about it. You have to understand, this was their life, this is what they lived for, what they loved. They were just trying to get their message across. I think that in the Barbara Walters interview, Terrie, as she was describing her and Steve's love for wildlife, was still trying to keep that passion alive by being very descriptive, and very deep...even though she was obviosuly, and understandably, so upset. So the emotion, and her being so "deep" about describing their love, their life, their job, his death, etc., may have struck you as "weird". However, please remember that this is a woman who has just lost her best friend, her lover, her soul mate, her "prince"...and not to mention, the father of her two children. I think she is extremely brave for doing not only one, but TWO interviews after losing her husband of 14 years only three weeks prior. There is no way I would have been able to do it. God Bless you Terrie, Bindi, Baby Boy, and most certainly, Steve. We love you.

Yah, I liked her and she is not weird -- I saw the interview. She is a naturalist and conservationalist herself and the love for the natural world can come across as weird to others who aren't into it like she is. A love for it can put one into a spiritual realm and it is hard to put into words what you feel. She is full of love and sometimes it is difficult to express. She is also mourning a deep loss and now must regroup, her whole world turned upside-down in the wink of an eye. A very hard thing to cope with her loss and yet be in the media eye. Each person should really sympathize with her.

I didn't see the interview but would have liked to. I don't know if she seemed wierd, I feel for her. She is still grieving and coming to terms with losing her husband and the father of her children. That is pretty sad and would make anyone a little camera shocked.

I watched the Australian interview with Ray Martin, Terri is not weird, Maybe Barbara Walters wasn't as kind to her, I don't know, i have only read the transcript to the Barbara Walters interview.
I don't think you have a right to be judging her, Her husband and soul mate has just died. R-e-s-p-e-c-t.!!

God bless you Terri, Steve, Bindi & Bob & Robert -xox-

Friend.....please let her live peacefully, concentrating her entire desire to raise those two lovely children and the work left for her by that "Friend For Forever" Steve. It is certainly not necessary to put any kind of comments as far as Terry's world is concerned. As like many other, me too haven't seen that interview; but still even if she looked in that way as you were described of her, well... she is still in that unbearable shock....thats what we can say for her appearance....thats all.

If you just lost your life partner, you'd be a little off kilter too. Everyone reacts differently to that kind of loss. Loss of husband, partner, friend, having to raise two children alone, worrying about income and financial future. I think I'd act kind weird too. I'd give her a big hug.

She is an emotional person who has just lost her friend, lover and husband and father of her children. How is she weird to you?
She is a very amazing woman I wouldn't say weird.

To me, she just seemed sad. She just lost her husband, the father of her children, and is trying to cope with her changed world. It takes everyone different lengths of time to grieve.

It's Australia man. And she's not TV engrossed like the U.S. Besides, she lost her husband recently.
