A group of people. Sitting around a room or table. the group leader - possibility the chairman but not necessarily sits at the end in a position of authority and power and in a formal meeting questions are addressed to the chairman or chairwoman. in an informal meeting the person sitting in the dominant position still controls the group and when he or she speaks the others listen and largely but not exclusively address their questions to the group leader. The meeting usually has a set time - so everyone knows when it will end. The closure comes towards the end of the meeting when the group leader will either wind things up or will make a short statement summing up what has been said or achieved by that meeting. Homework done! But fill it out a little. Look at my website and have a good look around for more ideas. Make a few suggestions of what would constitute a formal meeting and how an informal meeting might take place.

That is your homework lesson. We won't do it for you.

However, I will give some advice. If I were leading a discussion, I'd take the Talk Radio approach and be the devil's advocate. Make the group try to convince me that they are right and I am wrong.

Luck, kid.

You need:
Agenda with time table
A round table
Have some speakers,
Take some breaks inbetween,
Time for breakout groups
Get everyone to participate through group and individual tasks, presentations. Maybe break them into groups of 5 get them to summaries what they believe to be the main issues. You have to then bring the answers together coherently.
After wards provide proceedings.
