In my opinion, Bill Clinton's bj should have never made headlines, should have never been an issue, should not have been talked about on tv so children could hear about it. Democrat or Republican, I don't care to know the specifics about someone's personal sex life, including the president's- because it does not affect public policy or national security, or anything pertaining to the real issues in this country. The media and the Repubs were more than happy to shout about it from the highest rooftops to make it as filthy as possible, and to make sure every child in America would ask, "Mommie, what is a ********?" Adults will have adult behavior, and it is detestable to cheat on one's wife, true. And worse to lie to protect oneself. But after all, the lie, again HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY REAL ISSUES. But Repubs couldn't wait to get everyone's mind off the real issues, so any good that is done is overshadowed by this huge scandal. What are we- in junior high?
There is NO COMPARISON between what Bill did and a government official being a pedophile. The problem with Republicans has always been their finger-pointing diversion tactics- well, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
