Because she knows the secret to the true identity of a well known super-hero and she has been caught, numerous times, with a rather conspicuous cape in her car.

Honestly, because my husband will mess important stuff up if I don't follow him around (like paying bills, feeding the dog etc). I am sure not all men are like that, but mine certainly is.
