Some parents have taken the "home schooling" route to ensure that their children get a solid education. With the recent shootings in schools, do you think that more parents will start looking into educating their children at home? College unfortunately falls into an all together different category.

Not really, it is an open place and anyone can walk onto any school and practically do anything, but, we can not turn them into prisons with it completely fenced in and guards at an entrance checking everyone coming in can we? I work at schools as a substitute and I walk onto every school campus all the time and some have not seen me before, after all who wouldn't even think I was a parent? Of course I go to the office to check in. It just really shows me how easy it is. I think most people homeschool to give their kids a "better" education, one they have more control over, not necessarily because it is safer to stay at home to learn. Basically, anyone can get shot anywhere, we aren't really safe anywhere. It is so very sad that a trend was started to target innocent children who are in school and claim more victims.

Educating at home is cool. But you kind of loose out on the social interaction with friends and knowing how to talk to people when they start working because there are so many ways to express the same thing. It's a sad day for America.

I think that most parents will not put their Kids in home school because most parents work on weekdays and those who don't do not want to be concerned if their child cleaned up, ate and etc. on their days off.

It is just reflecting the rise in crime in society. Parents don't spend enough time with their children anymore and have no idea what they are planning.
