Do any of you find it strange that Al Gore says we have only 10 years before Global warming is irreversible? Here is the math. We have 2 years before the Presidential election. If elected then he could be President for the maximum term of 8 years. 8+2 is 10 years. He's telling you he has just enough time to save the world. Are you people that easily fooled?

It's so ironic.. my husband and I were talking about the same exact thing last night and we are on the same page as you. There's definitely a problem with global warming but it's way too convenient for Gore. Glad to see some peoples eyes are in fact open.

Not easily enough to vote for Al Gore, if that was your question. The guy is simply not presidential material. The reasons why don't even matter, since he's a Democrat.

And we all know what the Democrats are going to do to shoot themselves in the foot in the next presidential election, don't we? They are going to feel obliged (or whatever) to play out the whole "feminist" rhetoric, however failed and out of date, and nominate the one woman so completely obnoxious that even most women don't want to vote for her. And unless the Libertarians can capture the vote of those who really cannot stomach the Republicans, it will be business much as usual.

Vote Libertarian for a change!

Al Gore: "I invented the internet."

Transcript: Vice President Gore on CNN's 'Late Edition'

BLITZER: I want to get to some of the substance of domestic and international issues in a minute, but let's just wrap up a little bit of the politics right now.

Why should Democrats, looking at the Democratic nomination process, support you instead of Bill Bradley, a friend of yours, a former colleague in the Senate? What do you have to bring to this that he doesn't necessarily bring to this process?

GORE: Well, I will be offering -- I'll be offering my vision when my campaign begins. And it will be comprehensive and sweeping. And I hope that it will be compelling enough to draw people toward it. I feel that it will be.

But it will emerge from my dialogue with the American people. I've traveled to every part of this country during the last six years. During my service in the United States Congress, I invented the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.

Ken Lay Bragged That Gore Had "Solicited" His Views On Global Warming.

"In an August 1997 memo by Mr. Lay to all Enron employees, the chairman said Mr. Clinton and Mr. Gore had 'solicited' his view on how to address the issue of global warning 'in advance of a climate treaty to be negotiated at an internationalconference.' That memo said Mr. Clinton agreed a market-based solution, such as
emissions trading, was the answer to reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere."(Jerry Seper, "Enron Gave Cash To Democrats, Sought Pact Help," The Washington Times,
January 16, 2002)

The Clinton-Gore Administration's Global Warming Agreement Would Have Helped Enron.

"The Clinton administration's interest in an international agreement to combat global warming also dovetailed with Enron's business plans. Enron officials envisioned the company at the center of a new trading system,in which industries worldwide could buy and sell credits to emit carbon dioxide as
part of a strategy to reduce greenhouse gases. Such a system would curtail the use of inefficient coal-fired power plants that emitted large amounts of carbon dioxide, while encouraging new investments in gas-fired plants and pipelines -- precisely Enron'sline of business." (Dan Morgan, "Enron Also Courted Democrats,"
The Washington Post, January 13, 2002)

With an Al Gore presidency, you might have a cleaner, healthier environment, an economy that benefits all Americans, peace in the Middle East, and health coverage for more of us. I'll take that over the mess we have now.

Global warming is irreversible now.

By the time we can chage things globally, it will be too late.

But do not waste your time on such trivial things as the environment.

If Al Gore practiced what he says he does, than he should be worried about the end of the World, and the coming of Christ.

He's a tree hugger ... do you remember when he said that the little bottles of white out were depleating the ozone layer? Give me a break!

Thanks though, AL .. for inventing the internet. How is your lockbox?

Anyone would be better than Bush. My 11-year-old daughter could debate him, but it'd be a fair debate. Can't have that.....
