It depends on what you are searching for!
Yahoo gives you a much "cleaner" search. I use this primarily anyway, but always use it to search for companies or well established sites. It is one of the longest standing search engines around and the Yahoo site as a whole is very well developed.
MSN is definitely up and coming still. Microsoft always brings a well backed product, but it is nowhere near the likes of Yahoo and Google yet in both volume of traffic and volume of indexed sites (well when I last looked it wasn't anyway).
AOL is big, but only because it is readily available to all who have AOL as their ISP, not because it's any good.
Google is the most overrated Search Engine on the web. I only use google if I'm looking for something that would only be mentioned on a one page website that was created by a 75 year old who had never used the internet before and had only heard of the search engine google. It has more rubbish in it than a land fill site.

In conclusion, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, ... etc, etc, ... Google.
