This has been the same story for the past few years - close but no cigar. With Charlie Manuel at the helm, I'm not sure we're gonna get any closer. Part of me wants to believe, but I'm also prepared for heartbreak.

Unless you're gonna bring in a Lou Pinella or another big name manager, it's gonna be another year with Charlie next year with the same results.

I am a Yankee fan, so for one reason, I hope the Phillie hit the wildcard. I hope this, because the Mets don't usually get a good year, like this. They're usually in last place or something. If that was the same this year, the Phillies would win the NL East. I feel bad for them, so Phillies ... WIN THE WILDCARD!!!

I'd much rather see The Phillies in the playoffs than those skanky dodgers.
