The only requirement for law school in the US is to have a bachelor's degree.
As for Art History -- Both disciplines involve a lot of memorization, so some of the skills are transferable.

Sure you can... have you seen the movie "Legally Blonde" with Reese Witherspoon?? It's a great movie.
She majors in fashion design and then goes to law school.
But of course, she got VERY good grades in college, AND was smart enough to pass the admissions test for the law school. It is WAY harder than an ACT test.

Yes! I'm in law school now, and there are people here who have degrees in chemistry, art, etc you name it, it's here! Don't let anyone discourage you, if you want to attend law school do it! It will pay off in the future! With a J.D. degree the sky is the limit with job opportunities!
