I'm hurting at RB (Cadillac and Foster) and I have many WRs. I have Holt, Chad Johnson, Toomer, Colston, and Braylon Edwards. Recently someone proposed me a trade:

I get:
WR Coles (NYJ)
RB Gore (SF) or RB Parker (Pitt)

He gets:
WR Chad Johnson (Cin)
RB Ron Dayne (Hou)

My question is which RB should I take?? I'm leaning towards Parker, but I'm still not sure about Frank Gore. 10 Points to the Best Answer.

Go with Parker, the Steelers run the ball till they are blue in the face. Gore is banged up and his fumbling is concerning. The Black and Gold will get back on pace, their O line is one of the best in the league. I think that is a wise trade considering your depth at WR and lack thereof at RB. Good Luck

I'm have to say "fast" willie parker because gore is not going to get the goal line carries so therefore he's not going to score fantasy points as parker will. A guy to pick up who is probably a FA in many leagues that will really break out this season is a rookie named mike robinson on the 49ers. He's a HB and WR and he's going to get the goal line carries.

Parker definately. Pittsburgh would like to spend every game feeding him the ball and grinding it out. SF will be behind alot in the second half and forced to pass. Besides with Gore's fumble woes at the goaline it looks like inside the 5 carries will start going to the Robinson kid. And Coles is Pennington's favorite target so you aren't losing that much in giving up Johnson for him.

Everyone so far is correct. Take Parker.

Parker comes from an offense with an established ground game. Gore's numbers have been good, but he's faced weak defenses. Also, Gore might have fumbled away his goalline duty already with 3 goalline fumbles this year.

Also, San Francisco is bad enough that they will fall behind often, forcing them to go to the air, which cuts back on Gore's carries (although he is a decent receiving back). Still, go with Parker.

Gore? Are you kidding me? Guy has already had 2 knee operations.

If you want to do CJ for Parker straight up, do it in time for this week to push Parker's bye week to your opponent.

I'd let the other owners in your league know you were wanting to move CJ and see what else arrives in your in-box.
