The problem is that fisher price cant make anymore before late jan or feb, and every kid in america will want one. you are lucky you bought when you did. i really hope the things sell like they did back in the day cause it will pay for all of my christmas shopping needs

The problem is that the new Elmo TMX is much more complicated than other toys to make. Now that they have run out they can't get enough created to meet the demand by Christmas. It could also be a result of a shortage in some part required to build the Elmo TMX. I think the best advice I could offer anyone is just to buy the doll on eBay and put your feet up knowing you scored something rare (For now) for your kid.

Have you checked out Ebay today? I'm hunting for one that's Spanish and those too are selling over $100!!!!!!!

I went to WalMart to buy one....the store was only proved with 12 Elmos. ???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????12??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking the other 100 Elmos were purchased by the empolees and now selling on ebay! Not fair to real consumers like myself.

I think it was like 4 years ago when people were paying 1000 dollars for the Tickle Me Elmo.
I'm assuming they want this to happen again.

No Thanks.
