Yes, they can. The originating IP address is in the mail headers of every e-mail, whether it was sent from a Yahoo account or any other system. Accessing that information is child's play. Select the mail option to view all headers and you'll see it right there.

when 2 computers are talking they send info back and forth to the ip address.
I think that info is in the headers.... ( which is hidden in most email clients, but is not difficult to read as most have an option to viewheaders....)
the imporant thing is wil; having you ip address do anything for them?
