I lost my best friend, due to a big argument that we had last week. I'm a female and he's a male, and we've been really close for a year now. We've gotten into several arguments and said that we'd just call off the friendship(so childish), but after a couple of days, we'd be back together again. But, not this time. After we got off the phone, he sent me a text message that said to leave him alone. I love him to death and there's nothing that I wouldn't do for him. It's been a week and 2 days today. We've seen eachother out in public twice, and didn't even speak. I thought we were making progress because on Tuesday he sent a text asking how I was doing, but, he never responded when I wrote back and asked how he was. I even sent him a heart felt e-mail on Sunday. What steps can I take to get this stubborn friend of mine back. Life seems so hard without him, because I'm use to him being around 24/7. Do you think that he's really gone, or is it just something that needs time?

Either he's sick of you, or he's building a wall because of some feelings that he may have dear. Only time will tell...Keep your head up though, have a open mind, and he'll come back around....maybe.

He probably needs some time off to cool down and clear his head. Meanwhile, don't give up hope in saving your friendship with him. Good friends are hard to come by. Call him, wait for him on his doorstep, do anything you can so he cannot avoid talking to you. But not to the point of stalking him and making him feel irritated by your actions.. Good luck. :)

Call him and ask if you can get together because you'd really like to talk to him. If he agrees then try to fix what broke your friendship up. If he refuses to meet with you try sending a email explaining yourself and an apology if you feel it is needed. Then all you can do is wait. But at least you'll feel better knowing you put your best foot forward. Good luck to you ;o)

Ever heard of the saying if you let them go and they come back its meant to be. Give him some space, its hard to do, but if you really want to patch it up maybe try and text him asking if you can talk, in public so it wont get nasty. Hope it works for ya.

Tell him....tell him you want him as a friend and you miss him after that let him make the next move if he doesn't reply then I'm sorry but move on and learn from it. Give it a few days maybe more.......
