I want songs that can evoke the listeners emotions.

For instance:
"chasing cars" snow patrol
"Penny and me" Hanson
"Angels" Jessica Simpson
"Something about you"
or any jewels songs

Any others you might have?
Thank you

4. Daniel Kandi - All 3 of his songs: Nova, Child, Breathe

5. Boom Jinx - Remember September*

6. Above and Beyond - Good For Me (Club Mix) <-- Extemely emotional***

7. Parker and Hanson - Let Me Be*

8. Kalafut and Fygle - Novocaine (Mark Otten Remix)

That one from Romeo & Julliet. I dont know why I just thought of that, I haven't seen that movie sinse Jr. High. Anyways, that one song when they just meet and they look @ eachother through the fish tank. Some other groups: Journey, KayCee & JoJo, Rascal Flats (Ahhh, they're the best)... You cant go wrong with a little old skewl NSYNC, Mariah Carey, or Backstreet Boys. Oh almost for got gotta get Maxwell "A Woman's Worth."

Any music can evoke emotion in the listener it's just a matter of what you take from it and it can be different for each individual.
Personally the song that gets me every time I hear it is
Don't close your eyes by Kix here's the lyrics

what you're doing out in the night time?
won't you call me on the phone?
your mama can't solve your problem
when's daddy ever get home?

so you think you're a little bit wild
IN the middle OF the suicide

don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't sing your last lullaby

no one there to hold you
no one is your friend
you live life up and down now
nightmares on your brain

another lonely way of hanging round
don't you take it falling down no no

hold on hold on tight
i'll make everything all right
wake up don't go asleep
i'll pray the lord
your soul to keep

don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't sing your last lullaby

don't close your eyes
don't close your eyes
don't sing your last lullaby

Might want to try out of few of these:

Pearl Jam -Indifference (off the Vs. album)
Pearl Jam - Rival (off the Binaural album)
Deep Purple - When A Blind Man Cries (Can't remember the album)

I could be all day naming loads, I suppose it all depends on what people are thinking about when they hear the song, and what emotions they evoke, and how they affect you personally, as everyone will have a different opinion on each song.

The new country song "I Loved Her First" is soooo sad. It's about a father giving away her daughter as she gets married. I'm not even close to getting married or anything but that song makes me cry every time I hear it. So touching. I can't imagine playing it at my wedding though...I'd be curled up in the corner crying. Haha.
