Oh what memories sitting in the kitchen about 23 years ago and calling myself Sunbeam. When I first experienced CB radio it was in the home of a friend and while trying to think of a name for myself, she was ironing and the brand name on the iron was???? yes you've guessed it..... SUNBEAM

Oh, yes. Handle Keyman, lived in the Daventery area. Many, many, happy hours spent chatting to all and sundry. Sold my beloved Nato 2000 earlier this year. Final nail in the coffin!!

I was and still is Winefly from Silver city due to silver being found in them thar hills. My handle was thought up by a cockney pal (who lives here in the land of the haggis )because my other hobby was wine and beer making.

I was only 10 and called Big Bird!- (from sesame street)- I use to love the cb- sitting in the garage freezing for hours talking to strangers- god what were my parents thinking-
seriously- it was a great time I used to spend hours talking to a boy in my class- we never spoke in school though- wierd eh!!

yes i was CB, until i moved onto ham radio. qth wrexham, never picked up much of the CB language. i mainly operated mid block a lot quieter that the Muppet band and chance to speak to Europe in the summer. i made a lot of good friends whom i miss since moving onto ham bands, how i don't missed the IQ zero who spoilt it for everyone who wish operate in a manor that was respectable. owl 333

yes i used to be on CB my handle was lollypop, alias vampira, i lived in Essex, i had great fun on the airways, lots of funny stories but not for on here

i used to be blue ribbon, i cant remember what skem was called...(where i lived) they where the days, it was never the same after it became legit, too many muppets......i think this is the modern equivalent,. i spend too much time on this too!
