A bedridden lady in a nursing home had nothing, no money to buy anything, and no family ever came to see her even on birthdays or Mother's Day..Her only food came from a baby jar because most of her jaw was gone from cancer. At Christmas time, she had the nurse wash all her baby jars, and bring her a few plastic holly leaves and silver glitter from the craft room. She put these in the jars with some water and tightened the lids down. When the jar was shaken, it made a little snow scene. This was her Christmas present to me and the staff. Although she had nothing, she still showed us how to share in the spirit of giving. I still have that jar..It was the most precious gift I have ever received.

My husband and I once had many relationship problems. I told him that i wanted to talk to him about our problems but he wouldn't listen. As wrong as it is, eventually I left him and had another boyfriend for 6 months. After that relationship inevitably failed, my husband and I started talking again. But now he was a changed man, open talking, wanting to listen, caring about my thoughts and needs. We have become so very close. When my husband and I were officially back together, I asked him...How could you forgive me for giving up on you, leaving you and going out with another man. How can you still love me? and he said, "You forgave me for years for things I did to you. It's you that's made me this way. It's you that has made me realize what love is." It was so beautiful and I cherish each day with him. He stood by me and it is really is the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for me. And it goes both ways, by him standing by me, he's made me realize what love is too. See?

TO ME or FOR ME? lol! Theres a small difference! Thats such a hard one because my hubby tends to do so many nice and wonderful unexpected things for me. Lets see- so I will go for someone outside my home. I use to work for a man in Ohio and I worked for him for over 2 years- and one day my car broke down and he actually BOUGHT ME A CAR! Not a new one mind you but a very very NICE 2000 Crown Vic. He was dying from cancer and I worked about 70 hrs a week for him and one day he came in and handed me car keys and asked me for $20 for the title fee- and thats all he would EVER take for the car. I know- noone ever thinks something like that would ever happen to them but it did and I still miss that ol man like crazy and pray he is in heaven where he belongs! He was MY angel when I needed it most.

Uhh... see this guy knew I liked him. And I told him and asked him who he liked and I was so sure he liked me, but he said another girl's name. So I was really upset. And the next day he saw I was really sad and afterschool he called me and said he was sorry and that he really liked me. And then the next day he sent me a love note. A very sweet one. We had a relatively short relationship though. Only 2 months, but he just wasn't mature enough, so we eventually split.

He told me 30 years ago that he loved me unconditionally and meant it every day and night. I have a priceless gift that I treasure every night when we lay in our bed together.
