We are equals and we are capable of the same thing but due to our emotional and intellectual differences, we still have quite a few differences. Men use different parts of their brains to think than females which is a reason that for example, women remember dates (for example specific anniversaries) better than men. It's not that the men don't care, that's just the way that their brain works.
Our emotional and hormonal differences also change our personalities a lot (for example men are interested in sports and cars whereas women are more interested in fashion and make-up). Also, our ancestors have an influence on the way that we think. Many people still have stuck in their heads that men are the ones that need to support the family financialy and women need to take care of the family. This is a big reason that men often search for physical beauty when looking for a woman and women usually look for a man who has money.
Anyways, not sure if this really made sense and sorry for the generalizations (but that's the way that it usually is - of course some of us are different)

I have always thought of a woman as the fairer sex, what little girls are made of and men to be rougher. So that being said, when I was young I remember my mother kissing by scrapes and nurturing my weaknesses, consoling me and being way nicer then my dad. My father on the other hand was like a large dinosaur that I followed around who could show me how stuff worked and make bears run away. It was a simpler time and together they were strongest. People want to make the roles the same today and complicate everything. We should enjoy the differences.

One interesting difference is the ability for the hemispheres of the male and female brain to communicate with each other. Early in their development the connection between the male brain hemispheres dissolves substantially. This does not happen with females. Essentially, all males are brain damaged. The difference is comparable to an interstate highway in the brain of a female and a winding country road connecting the hemispheres of the male brain.
