If Francis can get back to his form of 21-6-6 a night and be an all-star again the knicks will have a better chance of winning. It would be to hard to move Francis because no one wants to take care of his huge contract. If he gets on a champioonship or even a high playoff caliber team with a proven leader then he can be very affective, plus he makes a better player when he doesn't have to make major decisions and just play ball.

As a huge Knick fan, I believe either him or Marbury needs to go at this point. Francis would be done a justice if he is traded, but his contract along with about 10 other Knicks makes him a payroll nightmare. Most teams don't want to gamble on a High paid low output Francis. Don't get me wrong, he still has that little spark to become the Francis of old, BUT...he hasn't been the same since him and Cat were broken up. But he should be traded, but maybe him and Marbury will co-exist and get us into and maybe past the 1st round this year (wishful thinking I know).

The Knicks organization is dumb...they are paying a lot of money to a backcourt that is composed of two ball hogs...They should give Franics or Marbury away so there is only one who controls the tempo...

Trade Steve Francis to a team that needs a PG like Minnesota or the Lakers for someone that can fill the Center position for the Knicks

I don't know about Francis, but the Knicks team is a nightmare. I am a Celtic fan, but remember the Knicks of old, they put on a good show and won their games. Sometimes they played a little rough, but they were a team. Key word team. John Starks put me on the edge of my chair more than once, as well as others. Isiah Thomas was a great player, but as a boss he sure has not excelled. I feel bad for the NY fans, for they used to really back their team without to many complaints.

Steve Francis needs to get his balls back and go to a better team. He got screwed leaving the Rockets. He maybe old, but he can still be a damn good veteran teaching the Bucks or somebody.

He should go to the Jazz, or a similar team not necessarily in rebuilding mode in need of a PG, who can afford him for a season or two to make a post-season run.

His shoot-first attitude wouldn't fly with Jerry Sloan, but his offensive production would improve a Jazz offense that can be anemic at times. And who knows, maybe a demanding coach can get through to him and bring back Stevie Franchise.

Atlanta, Indiana and Cleveland are all other options, but only Atlanta could afford him.
