Goa is about fun and friendly people.

Land in Goa (wherever-city/place) and ask for local tours at the hotel you are staying. Or just walk into the nearby market place, plenty of tour agencies would offer you bulk of options to suit your time and budget. Goa Tourism ( A Government agency) also have regular guided tours.

For food (any type - any budget) and pubs, same way in 24 hours of your stay there and a little efforts on your part enquiring in nearby market / tourist information, you can locate many options near to your place of stay or elsewhere.

Experience in Goa - nice place to holiday, eat and enjoy. Keep you belongings safe, don't carry much cash /flaunt cash valuables etc. Avail ATM services of your bank frequently for your cash requirements, use credit cards where possible. Travel light and ready to be mobile anytime for maximum fun and enjoyment.

So your bags are packed and you're ready to go to Goa. But are you sure you've got everything? Here's a checklist to get you ready for the sunshine state.

1. If you plan on spending time at the beach (and since you are going in summer, one would assume you are), don't forget to carry sunscreen. In case you do forget though, there are several pharmacies and shops where you can purchase one.

2. Do you have your shades and a hat or cap? No? Never fear- Pick up a pair of sunglasses in jazzy colors from one of the little roadside stalls. Buy a dashing fedora or a great floppy straw hat. You'll be spoiled for choice.

3. Carry clothes and footwear that are appropriate to both the climate and the activities you have planned. Goan roads and footpaths are not always smooth. So your bags are packed and you're ready to go to Goa. But are you sure you've got everything?
