My wife decided to leave with our two kids a number of years ago, and got a lawyer, etc. In order to make the uncontested divorce happen, (we had no $, and few possessions of value), I had to admit in the separation agreement to at least one of the necessary reasons for our split. I chose "verbal abuse and abandonment" No choice, others were worse. She admitted not true but we divorced . Why me? Why this nonsense? Because I'm a man? Why is it always our fault, and if not, why are we forced to lie? Who dreams up this bulls***?

I didn't have to fill out a questionnaire when I divorced. This is quite unusual. What ever happened to "irreconcilable differences"? That is what is most people use as their reason. And, NO, it is not always the mans fault.

If necessary, women can be more patient than men and I guess there is something to do about women winning most of the time over this matter.

Why did you do it? Why didn't you get her to choose a reason. I would have thought unreconcilable differences would have been enough.

You chose to lie, no one forced you to do it. So you are feeling bad about it now ... well, who's fault is that?
